Pantry — Privacy Policy

Pantry ("we", "our", "the app") is a food delivery app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address and mobile phone number, used to sign you in via a one-time code (OTP) sent to your email.
• Profile information: your name and delivery address, which you provide directly.
• Order information: your order history, items ordered, delivery address for each order, and order status.
• Wallet information: your in-app wallet balance and transaction history (top-ups, order payments, refunds).
• Payment information: when you add money to your wallet via card, UPI, or other methods, payment is processed directly by our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not receive or store your card number, UPI PIN, or other sensitive payment credentials — only confirmation that a payment succeeded.

What we don't collect

• We do not access your device's GPS or precise location. Delivery addresses are entered manually.
• We do not show third-party advertising and do not share your data with advertisers.
• We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

How we use your information

We use the information above only to operate the app: to authenticate you, process and deliver your orders, maintain your wallet balance, and provide customer support.

Where your data is stored

App data is stored using Supabase, our backend and database provider. Data is transmitted using encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

Data retention and deletion

We retain your account and order data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below — we'll action the request within a reasonable time, except where we're required to retain certain records (e.g. completed order/payment records) for legal or accounting purposes.

Children's privacy

Pantry is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
